Move Me installation at CAC
2012
MOVE ME was a “pop up” public art project that took place in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2012. It was a multifaceted event that included both a gallery exhibition as well as a “performance” in the streets with a fleet of vehicles transformed by animal paintings wrapped around "their bodies". Artist Roberta Paul and Project Manager Beth Kantrowitz of bkprojects had partnered with The Cambridge Arts Council (501(c)(3)) to investigate themes of immigration, national identity, and life transitions through the metaphor of animal migration. At its essence, this was a project imbued with a sense of wonderment, inquisitiveness and self-reflection.
